Pizza for a Purpose with

The Ability Center of Southern Nevada

Last month, Create Credit Union employees volunteered at Pizza for a Purpose, a special event hosted by The Ability Center of Southern Nevada in honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Held at Betty’s Village, the event brought together members of the special needs community for an afternoon filled with pizza making, music, magic and dancing. The Ability Center is a nonprofit and Nevada’s only gym dedicated entirely to individuals with special needs, offering adaptive fitness programs that support physical, mental, and developmental well-being.

From helping participants craft their own pizzas to sharing in laughter on the dance floor, the event was a meaningful reminder of the power of community and inclusion.

We’re grateful to our staff who volunteered their time and energy to make this event such a success. Opportunities like this reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting and uplifting the communities we serve.
